Kate's First Birthday

Well, the littlest Beck just turned 1 year old on Friday the 28th of August. We didn't have a party but have been going to several parties for other babies that were born around the same time.

Seems like a lot has happened in the last month or so. Doug got laid off and started a freelance gig, Kate and Julie flew to the East Coast to see her parents and sister's family and we drove down to LA to see Grandpa CrankyPants and GrammySina.

Passover Dinner: First Matzoh-Ball Soup

We had a wonderful Passover dinner with the Garovoy's this year. Kate wanted to participate, but she was too young to ask the questions or to hide the matzoh, etc. But she did get her first taste of Matzoh ball soup. And she liked it.

Turns out that I was able to come to baby swim class. So cute.

Kate had such a cute time swinging at the two parks in our
neighborhood. She is a little too small to sit alone in the bucket
swing, but is a perfect size to ride with dad.

Kate is really enjoying her breakfast meal time. It is even more fun
when she gets to wear her bunny bib.

We just need to figure a way to get her to sleep more in the night.
We're getting close to the point where we might go the CIO route (cry
it out). We both think it will be terrible, but momma needs her sleep.
